A technical creative AND a creative techie...

My career started in New York City where I first learned design and illustration. Soon, I had moved into animation which lead me to programming to control the sprites and other elements of the animations I created. Scripting and animation lead me to games and multimedia. Soon I was one of the premier multimedia artists in New York.

After I moved to San Francisco, I continued in my pursuit of excellence in web and multimedia design. At that time, Shockwave by Macromedia was my medium of choice and I worked on dozens of games, kiosks, CD-ROMs and other interactive experiences. My goal has always been to delight and entertain as well as educate. This desire has also lead me into creating 3D animations for science and technology — a great challenge but also an immense opportunity to expand my skills.

Today, the web is my primary focus and I have spent the past seven years honing my skills in user interaction and experience. The explosion of web applications and technologies makes for an exciting time to be a designer. Design is my passion and I've been fortunate to live in an era where design is vital to human communication. It can only continue to be so.
